Lake Placid Aquatics Swim Team

Lake Placid Aquatics, Inc. is a non-profit organization that strives to promote the development of aquatics through a summer swim team.  The swim team is open to individuals of all ages and we welcome your participation.

Lake Placid Aquatics Mission Statement: Our mission is to promote the sport of competitive swimming as well as teach the values of discipline, hard work, fun, physical fitness and goal setting.

Participant Ages:  Youngest age group (6 and under) through Senior (15 and up).  Minimum skill requirement includes: ability to swim the length of the high school pool (25 yards) comfortably and without assistance.

Registration Fees:  The registration fee schedule is at the bottom of this page.  Please remember that swimmers will not be able to participate until all forms and registration fees have been received.  Please make check payable to Lake Placid Aquatics, Inc (one check may be written to LPA to cover all fees- including the USA swimming fee).  Please mail your registration information and fees to Lake Placid Aquatics, Inc., P.O. Box 934, Lake Placid, FL 33862. 

Practice:  Monday through Friday at Lake Placid High School

May 9 – June 3: 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM ® 12 and under

                                                   4:30 PM to 5:30 PM ® 13 and older

June 13th: 6:00 AM to 7:15 AM ® 13 and older

7:00 AM to 8:15 AM ® 9 - 12 year old swimmers

7:45 AM to 8:45 AM ® 8 & under age group & all new swimmers

The coaches will help to determine what practice time the swimmer needs to attend.

Registration is considered complete only when all of the following have been received (please allow 72 hours for processing):

• U.S.A. Athlete Registration Form (Club Code LPA)
• Copy of birth certificate (for new swimmers and anyone that wasn’t register last year)
• U.S.A. Swimming Registration Fee & LPA Registration Fees
